Probably because UK spy planes and also US allied drones are flying over Russian airspace every day!

Its a regular occurance i believe, at one time it was a weekly thing just a routine flight, to make everyone remember russia has some of the most powerful military hardware around!

Well other sources say they are reminding us of their presence, some say they test our reaction times to the second to see if were getting better or worse and that this helpful information would assist them in how we operate should they do the real thing.

And another source I read states that other NATO forces and ours are doing a very important millitary excercise off the coast of Scotland soon called operation warrior or something. They may be trying to peak at the setting up there that will commence

either way,,, to find out they are doing this again like they did before is causing tensions.

We won't shoot them down yet sometimes I think we should as they are invading our space and if we were to fly over them they wouldn't hessitate bringing us out of the sky

obviously it would do worse if we did shoot them down but still......

It did die down quite alot but over the last few years it is getting more frequent :( and the routine they use is apparently getting more aggresive

LOL, it's older and more dilapidated than what the UK has!

And i bet if we did it once to them it would create an international ****ing incident!!

True there, i don’t think they would tolerate it, and here is us ready to scrap project trident before 2017 :whistling:

We do do it to them, but we don't get caught! The US is always running under cover sorties over the Russian airspace and there are numerous spy drones and satellites locked onto Russia!

Biggest and fastest though! LOL

Nice to see they turned north just before they reached Norn Ireland as we were ready for them with new surface to air missiles:2guns:

I like it !!

Yeah, the RAF tried to offer them free accommodation but they turned back, oh well. :scooter:

Why worry about ANYONE invading the UK??

All ready happened, Pols, Latvians, Czech do I need to go on.

They do it for the irritation factor apparently. World talk has always been about how broke Russia is but since the oil revenue has increased substantially, they can now afford to fly these missions. Its to remind us that they still have power, the old Russian bear flexing its muscles, but of course the Russian people are still unbelievably skint and finding it difficult to survive. Thats Russia for you.
