search button is your friend - check "interior door handle" and there are loads of threads on replacing handles etc.

I would post a link but i don't know how.

Are you replacing with chrome ones - if so well done, they look much better.

Also check the following link to website - very useful for lots of things zed relater - all with pics :thumbup1:

found a good link after a while of searching, looks like a real pain though! estimated 2 hour job to swap over a door handle!!

Outside handles - check this then bud:

Go to the bottom of the page there is a link to door handle and lock removal - Like you said its a bit of a mission.

Little buggers, trying to get in your car - least they didn't smash the windows in. :2guns:

Outside handle is quite tricky. Basically you have 2 nuts that secure it to the door skin. One is accessable quite easily, the other, you need to pop off the little grey plastic blanking plug. Stick a small deep reach in there and unscrew.

To pull the handle off, you pull out the bottom part and gradually lift it upwards (from the forward part of the handle). Lift it right up (pivoting it from the back of the handle) and it should pull out. Refit in reverse. It is tricky....and also quite difficult to explain.

its not as hard as it looks. Study the rods and how they are sat first and make sure everything is in the right position when you put the new one back in or it wont work right!

Yeh well said Baz, I always take a load of pictures on my camera before starting work, and then you can check later if its all back together properly:cool3:

little piece of advice, if your removing it run some masking tape around the handle before your remove and re-fit your new one, just incase your scratch the door, it can be quite tricky getting it out and last thing u want to do is have to paint or touch up things!

hope this helps
