dont know whats wrong

hey guys i was just wandering if any of you could help me i got in my car today and it strugled to start and then when she did start one of the exhausts was popping and bubbling it sounds like it is blowing but im not sure why as the exhaust is only a few years old any advise on what to do as i dont want to run her if its going to ruin the engine.

If it had problem starting, it sounds like it flooded but got started, if only poping from one zorst, this might indicate that you have an injector or spark issue on the bank of the engine that side.

Check your injectors are working (best way is with engine running, put a long screwdriver onto the injector and put the other end to your ear) you should be be able to hear a clicking. if not then the connector is probably mucky, clean with a small file and some contact cleaner

If ok, then check plugs and their connectors.

Once you have started cleaning connectors, clean any you can, as a common problem with green corrodid bits will cause loads of hassle.

As Stu has said......"Clean the green", electrical issues on a 300 are a nightmare.

You really need to clean all your electrical connections in the engine bay, MAF, PTU, CAS, TPS etc., but popping back through the exhaust can be the sign of more serious problems. If it still persists after the clean up, then I would recommend a compression test.

i have just replaced all the electrics in my car so i would hope i wouldnt have any green stuff around haha but i will deff check everything anyways im just scared that im going to destroy my engine
