Do any of you ever send cash in the post?. I know most posties have a bad rep but do you think they would actually take a £5 note with a stamp in the corner and address label on it?. Maybe with a note on the back begging them to be honest and deliver it?

 

Could they resist it in open sight????? :huh:

 

So this is what I propose someone give me their address and I will send a £5 note with a stamp on the corner and an address label on the front and then lets see if you get it?.

 

If you do you should do the same to someone on the forum until it gets stolen in the post.

Only thing that might be an addition problem is with franking. From what I understand, it's illegal to deface an image of the Queen and the stamp is right next to the Queen's head. Not sure that the Royal Mail would wantonly do this.....as it's not owned by the state anymore.

Well it has a delivery address. I wonder if Royal Mail themselves will take photos of it and send it in....I am sure someone's done this before!

Nice on Martin, Fantastic, my cousin is a postie and he reckons it should get there, but only give it a 60% chance because of the immigrants in the sorting office, he said they go through about 10 a week!! they either rob the place or dont turn up because they have been arrested!!:thumbup:

My sister sent money in a birthday card to my son it never arrived so I dont think this will work, your mad max:biggrin:

It missed the post today as I posted it to late, so its journey will start properly tommorow.

 

I really really hope it turns up, that would mean that there are still some good, caring, and honest people these days with a bit of pride in their jobs.

 

But I think the odds are very very low to be honest, that being said someone might read the note on the back and make special sure it gets to you.

awesome idea, you know that will make the 6 o'clock news if it arrives. if it ends up with a decent postman, he might make sure it doesn't even see the sorting office and goes right to your door via other means Si.

Not yet mate. Post comes here about 1pm...great huh! But I'm in all day today and all day tomorrow....so I am ready and waiting to be surprised! :) I'll try and get a photo of the postie handing it over! I have my camera at the ready!
