Yeah, the V6 cam belts are a little more involving. I fitted a 2.5 V6 into my old Astra Cabriolet and they do take a bit of time. If it was a 2.0 16v then they are pretty quick to do. If they are the 2.2 then they don't even need doing! LOL :)

This is actually a Cadillac Catera....although badged up as an Omega. Shame we never got the V8 versions.

GM tried fitting one to the platform, but it was just too big for a straight swap.

GSi over a mundano any day, the ST200 is slower than the GSi and the ST24 is slower than both. Only Mondeo I would have over a GSi is the ST220 but then thats a 3l.

Agreed. The only decent performance Mondeo was the ST220. It's one of the few Mondeos I actually like. I had a 55 plate Mondeo TDCi a few years ago and I never understood the hype. Found it bland and lifeless. Horrible dash and shitty switchgear. Just didn't see why Mondeos were raved about. I had a 55 plate Vectra 1.9 CDTi before that which was infinately nicer to drive.

But I do like the ST220. Pretty car too.

This is a lovely car...http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=135501

Go for a Mitzi Magnum/Legnum Estate VR4. Power/performance similar to the Zed, but 4 seats and a boot for the dog, get a black one and tint the rear windows and hey, nice car!!
