Does anyone know anywhere in the south I can get my 2 piece prop balanced on a 1994 UK TTmanual please?

Does it actually need balancing or is it that the centre bearing is collapsing ?

or is it attatched the wrong way round like mine was.......... lol

chances are your bearings are gone causing a vibration through the car?

Best get the prop and gearbox mount changed over

Place called "Reco-prop" in Luton. Not on your doorstep I know, but nearer you than me! They make them , balance them, shorten them, custom builds etc etc.

after refitting the gearbox my shaft was vibrating like hell over 35mph, turned out it had be fitted along the wrong orientation, the centre bearing was fine

a dollar for every time iv had to use that one!

Yes I thought that last year and had both mounts and centre bearing done. It has improved a lot, but there is still some there, thought I would now do prop.
