Hi Guys,

Watching the qualifying yesterday got me thinking about the BBC commentary team. Martin Brundle does a good job in my view, explains tech issues in a simple way so somebody not tech minded can understand. Johnathan Legard on the other hand is the classic "anchorman" with weird comments and to a certain degree "the curse of Murray Walker".

So my question is who do you think is the best commentary duo ever to grace the F1 coverage programme????

I'm going with Murray Walker and James Hunt. In my view this duo was ace, Murray because he is Murray and everyone thinks he's great, or should do LOL. James Hunt for a lot of the reasons I like Brundle and that he has raced and was F1 champion. Oh and he scores points for being an alpha male and having women all over the place LOL.

Nope, Hunt was in 1976 driving a McLaren.

When I met him prior to becoming a FI driver he was an arogent sod and so far up his own backside it was untrue

He was a stand in driver, for a guy who I was working for who sponcered a porche in a series and his regular driver was injured in a crash they were in on the way to Le Mans, So james took his place for a couple of races
