I have a cheap run-around for sale & am considering these as a 'no-hassle' option. Has anyone any experience of them? also, what do they do with the cars?

Featured Replies

Depends on condition they will either sell on at scrap value or sell on fixed, what car is it i ask as if it's an old run around they offer as little as £50.00 not forgetting the £20.00 admin fee!

You will also need to take the car for an inspection at one of there drop off points

I had a top of the range mx-5 in very good nick it was a 1.8s 1998 also with hard top.

low miles and history. price £450.

Sold it on ebay £2750.

They seem to have a tie-up with Carcraft who have an advert on their site. It's a Saab convertible- they've offered £650 on the details I've submitted but it would be less 'in the flesh' as there are some cosmetic issues. Was just gauging their prices. Do we know how they sell-on as they don't advertise cars for sale?

Not sure on where they advertise etc, but rest assured the price given on the net will be subject to a full inspection it says they will give me £1087.00 for my Z but in the flesh it would be more like £400 in it's current state :(

I'd say get it on e-bay or maybe even here, I was looking for a cheap runner early month and scoured e-bay, auto trader, and the loot :)

haha when i had my zed i had a look to see what they would pay (just for a laugh)

they offered me £100

last week i was searching for webuyanycar.com and accidently came on to a page called we buyanycars.com they came the next day to collect the car, tried to drop the price down a bit after i forgot to tell em a few minor niggles but i stuck to my guns and only dropped it by £50, i sold my bmw 323i to them for double the price i was advertising it for, and the car was a cat c.
