Boost controller?

 

I've never had a boost controller before, but bought an Apexi AVCR earlier :clap: just wondered what they were like and if they are simple enough to use? my 'buy it now' finger got a bit itchy :thumbup:

had one in the supra and is very good, but not the easiest to use.

I`ve got one Baz, Great tool, get it fitted and feel the difference!!! Fairly easy to fit, splice into the loom and a few pipes under the hood, and you need to have a little read on how to operate it.

ive got one, havent tried setting the boost etc... as that was done by darren when he installed it but the displays are very easy to read and switch between. seems to be very accurate :).

If you want me to take some photos of the wires that are spliced it may make it easier for you to install, I`ve got mine above the rear view mirror, quite discreet but functional where it is :thumbup1:

 

I have the A&B setting`s all set up!!! A= normal driving, cant be arsed racing, fuel save mode and Press B when I`m at the lights next to something quick!!!:sneaky2:

Thats really cheap!!! I paid £265 for a nearly new one about 3 years ago from e-bay, the fella wouldnt do pay-pal so i paid cash in his bank account and it never showed :angry: and i couldnt get my money back from e-bay as i paid direct :death:

So i saved up again and bought another for £230 and it arrived and has been great ever since, so my Avcr stands me at £495 :headvswal

 

So don`t anyone EVER pay cash into some T**ts bank account from e-bay, no matter how nice they are on the phone, rant over

I was only saying on another thread that I would prefer an older style one with twiddly knobs and stuff, but meh... I knew these were good and not to be overlooked at that price. cant wait to get it fitted and feel the difference :devil2:

looks good up there too, the one I'm getting comes with some custom stainless box thing so will see what that is when it arrives and decide where to put it! :thumbup:

Yeah they are a fair size, the limited edition black one is £400 odd but the silver one is still fairly pricey, not seen a second hand one for under £200 before, so think I got a bargain.

 

Looks good in the dash Ant thanks for the pic, but I've got a CD/DVD player there, might have to have a move around as I've got a SAFC, Apexi RSM and a turbo timer to cater for yet :wacko:

Yep know what your saying. Got myself a SAFC and trying to work out where to put it. Was thinking the sun visor.

Hi Baz, I tried to take some pics tonight and it was a waste of time really, there are so many wires it`s near impossible, I tried to seperate and get them all close to each other and take a good photo, but its hard to see the colours and which ones, I think you may have to read the instruction bud, Its not that hard, you just need a little patience
