right looks like i will be getting a manual n/a zed as a doner car. i can get plenty of info on here on how to do it so thats ok, what i want to know though,

1) is there much, or any really, difference in the gear ratios from that of a n/a to a tt as my car is a tt. if there is should i swap the rear diff around too incase thats different aswell??

also

2) im going to get an uprated n/a clutch for obvious reasons, but is there anything else i need to change whilst the box is off.

3) anything i can get rid of altogether?, for example are there stuff for the auto box not required for the manual box?

thanks for any info guys and im sorry if these questions have been asked/answered before (which im sure they have)

not much help to you regarding the conversion, but an NA rear axle makes quite an improvement to acceleration on a TT.

LOL,MABY, I'LL SEE HOW IT GOES PAL.

There are things from the auto box that are no longer required.....

I had mine by Zedworld and Jeff mentione the Auto Selector sensor that stops the engine starting when a drive ration is selected so that needs disabling or fixing. Might be worth asking Jeff for a few pointers

Well I've said it before and I'll say it again...

The maual box makes you realise just how much power is there because you select what gear you want and when to change up and down..... BUT perversely, that makes you realise just how good the auto box was at smoothing the power delivery

You pays your money and takes your choice !
