im planing on puting a sr20det from a 200sx in to a 240z. i no its been done before just intrested to see if any one knows any thing about it (whats involved in it) or any problems. still need to sorce all the parts/car. should be fun

Sticking in a little 4pot does nothing for me , Go for Rb26, VG30 or Vh45 in my opinion.

its going to be my first engine swap so want it to be a fairly simple one plus i have aptuning (200sx) specialists near by. not many 240s about so going to get any one i can get my hands on, i dont mind doing a spot of welding. its going to be striped to a bear shell any way

Definatly hit up Zclub and speak to some of the guys. They suffer very badly with body corrosion - Poor quality steel. It seems popular to import shells from the dry U.S states, and then convert to RHD with a UK scrapper.

I really really really want a 240z with either a RB26 or a Vh45de V8 in :cool: :drool:
