Just about to put them back in the car as one lump.

People have said you can do it on the drive with ramps!

How low do I need the sub frame and how high to lift the car?

Oh and wish me luck.

Had a good afternoon, engine back and all plumb in. Just need to put the rad and all the fluids in. I must of been very lucky or it is an easy job to do.

Will post some pics tomorrow..

Had to split it in the end, when i hoisted the engine in the air the box was pointing to far down to get over the engine bay. Happy its in only took me about 2 hours to get it in and run all the wires, that was with two tea brakes as well. I know what to look out for next time.

I too found it a lot easier putting it all back together than taking it all apart. and a lot faster too. just double check the vacuum pipes. i missed a very small one out under the passenger side throttle body, and i had a hard time getting the car to idle properly.

Well done indeed, not something I would take on at the moment.

there you are some pics, still have loads to do. Gearbox now in thanks to Martin (Madmax) only took us a few hours and some cursing....

Oh its so so close to running now. Will post some better pics when all done and looking sexy.

Looking good, it was not as bad a job to do as I thought. At least putting stuff together there are no bad ass bolts to try and get out.

Cant wait to see her running!!!!!! :whistling:
