Is it a good idea to cover a car "outside"? I have heard stories of people covering cars, caravans, etc over the winter season and the vehicle seems to "sweat" inside the cover, promoting damp, thus having issues with electronics, trim, seals, etc.

I have been looking for a good quality cover for some time now, but am unsure if it's a good idea.

Al.

I had a really good one on mine. but its pritty windy here in winter so with the movement of the cover wore away some paint on the edges :(

Oh well respray next week

bad idea to use on out side. Dust blows up the cover and the cover then moves about sanding your paint down. Mine is covered but in a garage.

Thats what I am looking for, an indoor cover, where did you purchase your cover form Damo?

My cover was the most expensive one in argos, about 80 quid mate(that was a year ago). Had no trouble with it at all and no condensation as it has a membrane inside and is breathable.
