And having my car converted recently I can say you won't regret it!

 

It cost £500 for the 2nd hand parts

And probably another £500 with new parts such as new clutch, slave + master cylinder, braided clutch hose, new gear knob, linkages etc - although not necessary to buy new, I chose to to reduce the chances of problems later.

hey mate not sure if you're interested but im breaking one of my 300zx and ill have manual gearbox,flywheel,starter motor,clutch master and slave cylinder with the hoses ,clutch pedal,gear knob in really good condition in about 3-4 weeks for £500.

I haven't got a 300ZX at the moment, it was curiosity more than anything. I didn't realise it would be that expensive, unfortunately I wouldn't be able to afford it. Thanks for the advice though guys.
