Since I have been doing my zed I have been using and buying a wide range of tools. It got me thinking what is my favourite one?

Hands down it has to be my Snap on torque wrench.... It bleeps and vibrates so you know when you have hit the right torque and it is very simple to use with a digital display.

Whats yours?

I have one of them halfords tool sets and no matter how hard I have tried I have not been able to break any of it!!! really really good quality. All the ratchets still work despite beating them with hammers etc or using breaker bars on them.

I must admit, ive shattered the ratchet on my 17mm ratchet spanner about 3 times now but everytime i take it back, nobody seems to questions the marks that my 4lb hammer has left.......oh well.

I've done mine twice - ratchet's not covered by guarantee though?? New one's only a few £ though and not too bad to fit.

same here, but mine is only the 12v 1/2" snap on one ,good though:hammer:

Apart from my Halfaulds prof set of sockets and rachets, it has to be my 36V Bosch GBH drill/hammer drill/ and chisel.

With a set of makita SDS bits. drills and smashes everything.

Even snaps heads of thunderbolt fixings (screw straight into concrete)

Total bad boy............

My Tool.

Never lets me down

Today it's my air hammer with a chisel bit as I've been removing tiles and tile cement from the shower room !

My fav tool I have used o nthe Zed is me Fluke 179 Multimeter, amazing bit of technology, but with my work I have access to lost of juicy pc related items, meaning I have ZF software to plug into buses (am not a frickin bus spotter before anyone says I am) and can check the auto boxes are working, one of the screens showing a schematic of the box changing gears/retarder working etc. I have put up a screenie of this and its very impressive to see it working, would be really cool to have something for the auto boxes on the zed, would make diagnostics on them a lot easier.

Cheers John
