Since I have been doing my zed I have been using and buying a wide range of tools. It got me thinking what is my favourite one?

Hands down it has to be my Snap on torque wrench.... It bleeps and vibrates so you know when you have hit the right torque and it is very simple to use with a digital display.

Whats yours?

That sounds nice have you got a link??

At the moment it's my new 24v Impact Wrench that I'm loving. Just have to pick it up and go with no cable or air hose in the way.

What a great idea, I have an air one and its a pain in the ass with pipes and only getting maximum power when the compressor is full etc. Is it as good as an air one?...I think im gonna buy one of those :tt1:

I've never used the air one I had so can't compare them. That said, the wrench does all the jobs I need it for on the zed. It's variable speed so you can use it as a normal wrench and the impact part of it seems quite powerful. It's only 200nm (about 147lb/ft) max torque so not the most powerful but can't fault it yet.

Just so you know, the Halfords Professional range of tools comes from the same factory as the Snap On equivilants.

Thats why Halfords offer the same lifetime guarentee as Snap On, but can sell the tools at fractions of the price.

Oh, my favourite tool right now is my 4lb mash hammer. Works a treat at splitting the subframe bushes!
