Ok guys here it is,

Now that the weather in Germany has finally made a turn for the better I can get dirty and try and sort her out.

There are 2 main problems that I have and I will go into them in a minute.

1. Rear Brake Lines

Went to fit a set of Goodridge lines and when trying to get the old ones off they BOTH snapped at the bracket in the wheelarch.:oops: I bought some new hose endings and a pipe flaring kit but the pipes are so badly corroded that I cant really do anything with them. :headvswal:headvswal

Don't know where to go from here.

2. Plenum

Had to replace the rocker cover gaskets, these went on fine and are all sealed and a new plenum gasket went on aswell. Started putting the plenum back on but I seem to be a couple of breathers over and cant see where they go, they are along the drivers side of the engine and at the back.

I know that pics would help here and I am going to try and get some to put up, however I cant do that at the moment.

I'm after any help or advise to do the work myself if possible please, or as I feel is the more likely outcome to get the car trailer'd to DTA in Holland. (I live in Germany).

Cheers for any help guys, Rob

Had another look at the car today and I think the only realistic answer is to replace the brake lines completely. From what I can see this is a diff out job so way out of my capability zone.

So after the summer its going to go to DTA Europe if they are able to do the work or ill have a chat to Jeff about doing it. Obviously trailer'd to wherever.
