hi can anyone help. ive purchased 2 maf s and both dont work on my 300zx tt.

 

the one ive got on now works fine,but the previous owner cut one sideof the maf to have a slide on filter. ive purchased a dual intake so i needed a new maf. but like i said ive had 2 now and none of them work. my car is mis firing and spluttering. what could be wrong? any help please

the conector that connects to the MAF. give it a real good clean and see if it helps.

maf is on one side of intake .

the other half has only filter ..

chip is altered to read half of its original measurements ..

cant tell more then that here .

He could be using a dual filter through one MAF though. Depends on which set-up he has

sorry if i put things wrong. i have dual filter through one maf.

ive just purshased yet another maf 3rd one! and a blitz sus. see how we go with that.
