Need some more help and advice lol!

 

One more thing on my list of parts I want to buy for my zed is new hoses. Now for some reason im liking the idea of having the signature purple Do-Luck hoses. Am I right in thinking only the one hose fits from a twin turbo? You can get just standard hoses 3m or 4m in purple for water etc so thats all right.

 

I had a look on smithys place to see if you can get a matching brake booster hoses but there not available in purple.

 

Is there any where else I can try? Or should I just pick a different colour to make it easy lol!

I think you'll struggle to find hoses in purple anywhere other than at Do-Luck. None of my silicone suppliers will do colours other than blue, red or black unless I can get an order together that will make up roughly 25kg of silicone (that's the minimum quantity that can be mixed).

 

With regard to NA hoses, I can provide top & bottom radiator hoses, IAA Valve Feed Pipe kit (stainless steel pipe with silicone elbows), brake booster hoses and various vacuum hoses. Unfortunately, I can only get them in blue, red or black. The big intake hoses (the ones that lead from the air intake to the throttle bodies) are not available in silicone to the best of my knowledge. I can do you a set in stainless steel with silicone couplers instead if that is of interest.

I thought it might be difficult. I just wanted to do something different with my engine bay as I see loads of red and blue. Nothing wrong with that just wanted to be different.

 

I have some intake pipes in chrome already so might go down that route instead. Do you have all the hose selections you mentioned ready? Or do you have to order them in specially? I only want to know as I will try and time it with my car being back on the road in march. Also do you sell the silicone couplers for the air intake seperate? I bought mine from ebay and it only came with three!

 

Just had an email from sumopower for the do-luck hose set. £110+vat+postage and I cant even use half of them lol!

Of the hoses I listed I've got the following in stock:

Brake Booster Hoses (red & blue)

IAA Valve Feed Pipe (red & blue)

Vacuum Hose Kit (red & blue)

 

I've got an upper radiator pipe in red in stock but would need to order the lower radiator pipe. I'd like to say it's about 2 week's lead time but could turn into 3 if history is anything to go by.

 

I can supply you with any diameter coupler. I just need to know that the outside diameter of the pipe is (the one the coupler is going to slip on to). The throttle body couplers are ID62mm IIRC.

Yes, but the OP is after NA pipes. To the best of my knowledge (and SFS's most recent price catalogue) they only sell TT intake pipes.

They have loads of 300 kits and do the vacuum hose in purple.

SFS do 4 kits for the Zed and each kit is for the TT model.

Purple silicone tubing is available from almost anywhere, ebay or SFS.

Aye the bottom rad pipe only and a couple of of servo hoses.

Going with purple though it gonna look pretty naff half purple and half summit else.

Better than nowt though.
