Guys have a nice shiney pot from slick Pete, question is can I just clamp off the pipes and remove the old pot and replace with the new one?

Will I need to do anything else, apart from top up the fluid when done ?

cheers

H.

Hi Howard, best to get the old fluid out of the pot first using a large pipette or turkey baster type tool, take of the pipes and drain all the fluid, best to top up with fresh fluid anyway. Once topped up start the engine, turn the steering from left to right a few times to bleed the air out and top up as necessary.

If you have no baster, get a jar under one of the pipes, undo the clamp and and drain the pot into the jar, there isnt alot of fluid so wont be too bad. Take the cap off the pot before you do it. HTH
