I know there are a few threads about this and i have looked about but unsure to no if i did anything wrong recently after my minor blow out.

 

in the pic attached i used the jack from the boot and used the sill to lift the car is that the correct way to do it , some say that sill jacking is a big no no and some says its ok its factory recomend, im kinda guessing the thread may go the same way, but more looking for a answer to if i may have done any damge that isnt noticed now or am i just being paranoid

The sill is meant for tyre changes, but personally i wouldnt ever do it on there, i only jack mine on the chassis rail or if on the rear, the Diff!

Jacking on the sill is acceptable for tyre changes with the stock Jack (it has a groove for the lip to sit in) but it can otherwise crush the lip and push the front wings out with other jacks. You will be able to see if this has happened.
