Can someone recomend a good cat 1 alarm and fitter.

Fitted prices are different all over the place.

Supplier have been saying you have to get it fitted properly but surely if they are approved then it is properly.

Some options would be nice.

Thanks.

Hello bud,

Wish it was that easy, the last Toad I had fitted was an approved fitter but when I removed it from the car, all the wires were joined by twisting and loads of black tape - absolute bodge in my eyes!

Yeah i bet. you can picture it.

You get a car which is being a bit of a pain e.g. old trims or they want to get home so they rush it.

Not sure what to do.

I got a stupid price from one company but they said your paying for the install rather than a hash up.

Is this for the NSX mate? If so interior parts are stupid prices, a mate had one after 2 300's and he couldn't believe the prices of bits of plastic! Who ever you get, I would tell them they have to replace anything they break and not just glue stuff back together ;)

I just had a cat1 Viper 480xv fitted to mine, by a chap called Phil from National Vehicle Security - total cost £220 and a shiny VSIB/MESF approved certificate with genuine stamp, the lot. Insurance company certainly liked it. Don't think he services Norwich though, he did Leicester for an additional £20. Totally decent job too, so there is some money to be saved if you shop around (I shopped around quite a bit).

** If I recall correctly he was willing to do a meet half way kind of affair- if adding the cost of petrol still beats other prices.
