Just been give a n/a engine from a customer of mine, It has been sat in his shed for over 2 year. Long story for another day.

Had little look over it tonight and looks seized. Any tips on getting it unseized!

Thanks :thumbup1:

Just unseize it.

Firstly does the crank turn? ie with a bar and socket on the crank nut

if not then its a complete strip down, top to bottom, once you get it opened up, it may be more work than is worth it. Because if its that gone, its new shells, piston, rebore and that not including head work

If not when its in bits, the plenium is worth £ on its own, or get it polished and worth more.

Good way to learn about zeds engines too.

Thats a good sign that it turns. My old zed engine, blew a h/gasket, and was left for 15 months with water in pistons. Totally shagged. couldnt even turn the crank with a bar, and 8ft of scoffold pole.

Shouldnt be to be bad. check compression and see what it needs to bring it alive.
