Hi,

i have a nissan 300zx 1994 3litre non turbo, having really bad idle problems

when started it fires upto 3k up and down.

Tap on the throttle and goes to redline so isnt driveable

 

ive located the icv sensor i disconnected the eletrical connection and stilll does the same thing, does this mean it is not the sensor ?

 

checked for vacumn leaks etc had no joy

 

before i start work on it i was wondering if there is any common faults

It's a common problem and just requires knocking back in and sealing for a decent fix.
