Now I have no problem in paying vat where its due and if you import items from outside the EU then VAT needs to be paid.

What really makes my blood boil is when the twats take FIVE DAYS to stick a sticker on a parcel and release it.:cursing::cursing:

Yep, this happens to me ALL the time! :( It used to be much quicker but lately 5 days in Customs seems to be the average. Also, as of late it would appear that EVERY parcel I receive from outside of the EU attracts import duty and VAT charges ... Used to be about 1 in 3 but that's no longer the case ...
