Looking to buy another car- not selling Zed or my 200 though- looking through various sites I see quite a few cars for sale which are sorned!!

How can you legally take these for a test drive other than a quick run round the block hoping 'plod' doesn't spot you?

This road tax is a pita. should go on fuel more you drive the more you pay.

Its the only fair way imo

If it aint taxed then usually they are a Trader who does not want to put their name in the logbook. It they are genuinely a private seller then they don't really want you to take it for a test drive......why ? cos it has problems. Don't bother, find something else.

Yes, I wouldn't bother enquiring about a sorned car- was just wondering if there was a simple way round the sorned issue.
