JUst got a Z today and drove it back home soon as you hit 60mph you get a constant Bong or binging noise, for 300 miles lol

 

Anyone got clue what this is and how to stop it?

think it's a japan speed limit boing it can be disabled not sure how though

Well done on the purchase bud, lets see some pics!!!!!

 

It is indeed the speed limit warning chime, mine had it, took me 5 years to cut the wire as i kept forgetting to do it, i only remembered when i went on the motorway

 

I think its 1 green wire to cut behind the clocks, 20 min job, Groover is the best man to ask

Thanks will put some pics up soon. it needs a bit of tlc like guys, but payed next to nothing for it, set out to buy a tt manual ended up with a n/a auto lol, but have plans maybe a single turbo route and a manual conversion, but will get the body work sorted first.

20 minutes :ohmy::gun_bandana: a 4 minute job, take the 2 screws out to get the hood off, locate the green/yellow stripe wire and cut. Job done and you still get the light on chime.:wink:

You dont get this problem if you own a uk spec :lol::lol::lol::lol::gunsmilie::rockon:
