Air filter set-up

Ok ive been having a think about the air filter set-up and was wondering if anyone has done this or could find any problems with this idea.

I was thinking of cutting down the pipework of the air filter system by just connecting silicon hose straight from the turbos to behind my bumper. I would then make air ducts direct to the cone filters for direct air feed.

This would be alot better for air flow being practicly direct and alot less heat soak from the mile long standard pipework.

Can anyone see any problems with this or should i just stick with the Doolz?

Cheers

Dan
