now iv made the car mechanically sound and as happy as larry (whoever he is?) i want to make it faster, its an na so naturally all breathing mods have been done, it pulls well and feels healthier than its ever been, i nearly bought a nos kit last year but i lost my bottle (was kinda semi talked out of it) some peoples opinion are that its a waste of time on the 300's due to the engine settup id be happy with a 50 shot per bank giving an (guesstimate) of 322bhp, id be looking at a wet progressive kit with an arm/dissarm and micro switch on the throttle for the hit -

I was considering this too. But want to get 200 hp at the wheels first without nos. I was considering 25 per bank giving me 300 hp at the fly. Can a non turbo's stock internals handle 300 hp?

see this is my thinking, im told the bottom end is good for 400 without messing about and the box, transmission and everything else seems to be happy excepting 350bhp on a regular basis, the na box gets thrown on the tt's all the time so whats there to fail? nissan arent bad at making engines.......ok bar the c18det........ thats made out of playdoh..... but look at the rb26 or even the 25, or sr20det?, they can exceed there standard power happily, yea we've all heard horror storys but on a car that owes me £2100 its not really a terrible thing if it did go bang, and im assuming the power is at 222bhp alltho im sure its probably down to more like 190 - 200 lke most NA's - (altho it feels quicker than its ever been tbh) nothing a simple service wont clear up :D - so all in all i cant think of a reason not to do it, question is..... where to start? nice cheap and cheerful kit, end of the day psi is psi, its all externally regulated so price shouldn't really matter, cant see why an expensive kit should cost more?, also my mates got a 33gts with 200 shot of nos, he has a contact at the hospital to refill his bottle so thats not a problem either......where to start? id like to put together a kit over time buying bits and bobs over a couple of months, im aware im gonna need x2 of alot of things (per bank) so its never gonna be as cheap as a strait4 or 6.

the N/A engine should be fine with 300bhp. the rear mounted turbo car was running about 350 bhp iirc. and that was on standard internals
