had a call from the police detectives today asking about the attempted arson at one of the properties on monday night, tottaly shocked as it was the first i had heard of it, went straight round to the property to have a disscusion with CID, turns out someone had put a lighter fluid canister and a wd40 canister in the oven and turned it on then left the building, got asked the usual if we had had any bother with any tennants (which we have) and they took statements from everyone and us (me and my boss), anyhoo's came back a few hours later and arrested one of our tennants for attempted arson

 

its lucky we have 10p slot meters in the kitchen, it had ran out before the canisters got to hot and exploded, they tell us it could have caused a hooge fire potentially killing all the occupents in the building as the accelerant would have caused an intense fire, the building is all upto date with the fire regs for himo housing, it would have contained the fire in the kitchen for half hour and the hard wired fire alarm would have alerted the tennants, but as the detective said, it could have been a very different scene if they had blew up

 

we are quite shocked at this cause the only prob with this tennant is that he has stopped paying his rent as he turned into a pisshead

What`s the world coming to?? You had a murder a few weeks ago!! and now this!! weve just had 2 murders recently round here! Its full of scumbags who need a kicking and locking up for good, IMO.
