Surprised you haven't sold that lovely looking machine yet Dave.

 

Where else are you advertising? Have you put it on findit.co.uk? Free ads website, gets quite alot of coverage.

 

Try quidsin.co.uk aswell, based in North West but again free ads paper. You can have upto 50 words too which should just about squeeze in all the stuff that you've done to it!

I've tried local free ads (Loot) and it's in Autotrader / Top Marques at the moment. Didn't help myself by forgetting to take my phone with me last weekend !

 

Had a call from a local guy today though who is very interested so hopefully things will be happening soon.

I have a really good deal from NU at the moment as I've been with them for years. Best 'new' quote I've had is Privelege who want around 2K with the chip fitted and around £1400 without (I still have the original chip).

Kinda out of my insurance league - I'm hacked off at paying nearly £600 !!

I think my 300'll be kept (nearly) standard.

 

Incidentally, a mate of mine is selling his Griff 500. You know, S-Reg, one careful owner, everyday driver, well looked after, 36,000 miles etc etc. I reckon he could be persuaded to part with it for £20K - that should satisfy your craving for fibreglass.

 

I'm sure you've read the thread Andy but if you can cope with doing less than 6K annual mileage then try ringing firebond. They should class the Z as a 'future' classic, like my RX-7.

I needed to have a limit of 10K, I'm 24 with 5 years no claims and got £600 fully comp. I get free protected no claims because it is a future classic. I have been told they are very reasonable about modifications.
