are you running stock power and are you looking to increase it in the future?

stock clutch for stock power but would consider upgrading if you intend to start playing with it.

contact mike feeney at mjp eastern auto for stock clutch or danny @ dta for performance versions they are both traders on the club :)

I bought a new exedy clutch kit, comes with plate, cover and new bearing.

My zed is running 14psi and a few other bits, handles the power no worries.

Good bit of kit.

I know of others on here that also bought it.

Well worth the money.

^^^As above^^^ I have one of these Ebay Exedy clutches and my car is running extra boost and mods.

The clutch is working perfectly.

Would imagine that if you want to abuse your 1st gear regularly and traffic light race then it might fail early and a super duper clutch would be a better idea, but if you use the power on the move so to speak it should be fine.

Don't pay over the odds....

The exedy clutches are quite a bit cheaper but if there as good as said then bargain.

Its near standard. The only mod in the near future is some decat pipes to match the exhaust. This might show up the turbo's with a seal issue. If so uprated turbo's will happen soon enough. She has had the car less than a year and is only 24... she really needs 1 years driving in a fast car. But in about a year she will be bored and will start pushing 350-400 BHP to keep her amused.!!

Craigy.... TBH she is reserved in first gear unlike me. Personally i drift everywhere... She is getting there so maybe in time.

How long to change a clutch? I take it its Exhaust off, Prop Off. Box out / moved back then refit.... Does the engine need tilting to remove the gearbox???
