Hi looking for some help, I brought a 2nd hand Stainless exhaust off the forum. When I came to fit it tonight, the near side exhaust bank appears to have an extra CAT in it. Certainly nothing like it driver side. Is this common with UK Models?

Also there is a sensor in the casting, I guess this is a CAT Temp sensor ?

I think I need an exhaust eblow (Short one) going through roughly 90 degrees to match up with the downpipe.

Can anyone shed any light on this? Cheers Seb

The TT UK or Jap have pre cats after the turbo and standard cats at the end of the downpipe, nothing different that i know of, get a pic up if you can, will be interesting to see whats been done.

The cat temp sensor will no longer be required with a decat.

The elbows are normally part of the decat pipe package when bought new, so you will require 2 elbows, one for each side.

Ok some pictures here, The new system is about half the length of the N/S Pre Cat, and ends in horizontal plane. (Sorry pictures taken at 11.30PM, had to abound Z in mates garage 30mins from home, So taken in a hurry in a mobile)

Another question there appears to be some kind of gas recirculation system on the standard UK TT, What / how is the recommended method of removing the device?

Does anyone have a n/s elbow for sale?

I now think the sensor in the elbow is O2?

Thanks Seb
