Having done a manual conversion there is a vibration around 2000 revs coming from under the car, then it goes. Changed the oil but still there, could i have connected the middle of the shaft together one wrong. i remember reading when rejoining it that they should have be marked so the when reconnected the balancing was maintained? Otherwise the is a 50/50 chance of it being the wrong around.

Don't know then mate, I guess you could try splitting the prop again and turn one end round then bolt it up again.

Have you checked the AFM for damp? When mine got damp it was causing the car to vibrate. Just a thought.

That's newly changed for other reason and no change. i'm thinking bearing or prop balance

sounds like it..

Try turning the two parts of the prop around 180 and rejoin them see if it clears up. Is the rubber around the centre bearing in good condition as this can cause vibration too.

Pretty much, worse 3rd and 4th tho

that's weird, if it was the prop you'd expect it to be related to road speed not engine speed.
