does 500 notes sound a fair price for a manual gearbox + all the bits to go with it? only trouble is its a non turbo and i have a tt? i have read a few threads on here that say the only difference is the flywheel and clutch, is this right? will be fitting the box myself if i decide to go for it. :dots:

are you selling or wanting one fitting????

sorry, i want to buy one, i have a auto currently,

i will fit it myself. I just dont know how much these sort of things go for? is it too much or a cheap deal? and of course its from a N/A so whats the down side?

If it is a complete kit including the flywheel then it will fit but remember to buy an NA clutch, I think they are slightly smaller.

Propshaft is different, need to also change the speed sensor cog for a twin turbo one as the diff is a different ratio.

Will all fit with a bit of work though, fit an uprated turbo clutch to save messing with the bellhousing and starter fitting.

No sorry I meant to write, if you fit an upgraded non turbo clutch with segmented plate it will be fine not too hard to depress even without the turbo booster, but able to take the extra power of a turbo.

Jeff

you will need a tt flywheel.

if you get stuck i have a skimmed one spare not too far from you
