Hi just went to renew my insurance . And because i have just lost my job the price went from £509 to £1500 full comp this was with done deal. So it looked like i would have to sell the car. But after a drink i phoned alen and alen . Got qoute £620 tpft and £770 full comp. So looks like i can keep the car just the mot now that's next week.

probably to do with increased likelyhood that policyholder will be driving during the day when previously (presuming the car wasn't insured for work use) the insurer knew that at least 8 hours a day the car would be stationary.

Or perhaps its just a tactic to remove you from their books as the chances of someone without a job defaulting on payments has got to be higher and in the current climate they may not want that risk.

Hi i aways pays the full bill. So they would get there money ok. But they said as blackzed2980 i could being driving it during the day. But as i said to them it had limted mileage only 3000 so it would not take long to use that up.its away to make more money that all i see it as. I could work night's so use the car in the daytime. And you can fill suicidal santa your right the job centre dont help you spent 4 hour on the phone monday with different deptment's and still know sign of any money
