This guy is after my cougar. He wants 2k for his zed and claims its mint which i doubt to be honest, has full SH and receipts for all work carried out.

that grey is one of my favourite colour for a zed.

Any thoughts on it?

YEah i know that bud, would all be subject to inspection.

Claims its all mint and solid......if it was and the engine was good would seem abit of a bargain i think?

Right nice tidy looks UK car.

Anybody available to help on a viewing. Think its in keith moray north of aberdeen.

Aye i rather like it, same wheels as your old one?? I had scorpian exhausts on my gray one, sounded awesome!

Obviously its got some miles on it, just budget for the inevitable engine work in time (depending how much you use it!) and you can't go wrong.

yeah would at high mileage id send to zedworld for work on the engine, a donor one etc.....

I beg to differ.... you can go horribly wrong buying a 20 year old high mileage UK 300ZX.

There was a guy on here recently who bought one for £2K with a possible engine prob. Ended up scrapping it without hardly driving it.

I cant quite remember his name but he lived in scotland I think:confused1:

Ok so it's 1k more than the grey one ...... and it's in N.I but to find a good car.... (any car you must be preapred to travel). http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-300ZX-TWIN-TURBO-UK-CAR-SERIES-II-1993-L-REG_W0QQitemZ150400878080QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item2304974600#

but it has had only 2 owners and looks like (if genuine) has a full SH which IMO is worth a lot with these cars. I would see if they would accept an offer as there cannot be many people out there this time of year after a Zed. It's an auto, but I bet with the money you'd save on this one against the Ph car you could put towards a manual swap in time. Personally if I had just had new turbo/s timing belt changed, the last I would be doing would be selling, which makes me think what else might be wrong with it to make him sell. Tread carefully young man! :)

H.

please can you stop going on about me not buying yours.

The train tickets was plenty more than 30quid i can tell you.

Now im anything but a tyre kicker and your clogging up my thread with this chat purely because i didnt buy yours now if you dont mind stop it.

If your over it and not gutted then you dont have to keep going on about it so thats enough.....

nothing to be over bud,,,im very annoyed at your cheek thats all,its a good job its a cyber thing...

Again for the 8th time

good luck and take care hope you find your zed!!!

Yup i know it is a good think its only online.

Cheers for that comment, im sure i will find a nice one.

cheers

now that is a top motor, well worth the cash, lovely example

Go and see it craig. Looks like its driven in all wheather conditions so there will be rust. Im sure by now you know what to look for! TBH get a jap one, also the word mint to me means a 7000 pound + car.

As regards the Grey Zed, I wouldnt.

Cant say why, just a hunch, but I would say no. Sorry, cant explain.

Nip up and see it. Aint no more than 5 hours there and back ! Will be worth it in the long run ??

Alan..............

The red ebay car does look very good. But it does have some rust. Look at the rear sill picture. This would need to be jumped on asap and closely inspected to make sure its not proper rot.

I agree here too. Would think there is no such as a mint ZED if driven as a daily driver and in the snow as well. And being a UK car makes rust and rot far more likely.

The mint ones will be weekend toys that are garaged, pampered and only driven in 99% good/fair weather with a shed load of receipts and history.

Also think you should get a import. I've got one and I can honestly say there isn't a hint of rust anyway - body or chassis. It is pampered though!

I bet both those UK cars have more rust than the pictures show.

I agree with That :cool3:

I have one of the First Zed's made 1989 an its an import and not a speck of rust on the bodywork or below the car and its out in all weathers

I love taking it for M.O.T's (sad I know) because of how mint it is. Every UK I've come across has had rust somewhere

So its Import for me all the way buddy !!!!

No the guy is an abosulte chav tastic.

Said no matter what state my cougar is in he will take it, and he doesnt have a license and has only had the car 1 day.

So im afraid i wont go and see it nor am i intrested tho. noticed hes put 3k on it, he wanted 2k when speak to me.

Craig i would wait till one comes on here you fancy. At least you will know the history, how well cared for it is.

i really dont see why you dont go for naf's car mate. the engine tappett is not a worry as it has even been looked at by zedworld and not diagnosed as a problem. he has also drove it for ages with the tappett and it does not cause any problems and i have never noticed it at any meets. im almost certain its nothing. you can be assured your getting a great car with naf's. even if the wheels or something arent to your taste you can easil change them and you are getting it at such a bargain you will be able to afford to add your own touches.

why dont you buy nafs???the white one??? for a uk spec that is one nice motor,,,sure he has won prizes with it too????clean car/uk spec which means its alot cheaper to insure, especially if get classic car insurance...

i'd go for stock wheels onit though, ideally chromed???

great minds think alike,we must have wrote our comments at the same time....dos the 300zx not have hydraulic tappets???

just looked a naf's and IMO i would snap his hand of for it peach is a real ponce (nicely ment) when it comes to looking after his cars and this looks so tidy. For me with the zed the engine doesn't worry me its rust when thats in your fooked

I am thinking on nafs yassa.

but im sure you can see me concern with not wanting to head down that road again......

the wheels arent to my taste, i would want ones like funkysi's on it with some nice deepdish etc.

Nafs isnt out the window so its not im still very intrested but with the weather i dont think i will get down anytime soon to be honest unless i took a chance.lol.
