Hi, after leaving the car for a week over Xmas, cleared her of snow, opened her up and started her up, fired first time and ticked over purrfect, drove around a while and noticed my indicator's weren't working. When i got home i tested the hazard switch and the bulbs in the dash blinked and the outside lamps also blinked, the separate left/right ones still refused to work.

Found the fuse in the footwell, 10amp red, but it was not blown..

Looked around the other fuse blocks but nothing..

 

Any body got any ideas where to look next?

Is the hazard light switch returning all the way back? My switch was catching on the pod and causing the problem you have.

It's quite common for the plastic screw threads in the pod that hold the hazard switch to fall apart. This happened to me and stopped the indicators working as the HS was not going all the way back. Saying that, when I wired in my el dials the headlight washers went off each time I put the headlights on :confused1:

This only happened twice, and I never did figure it out! Bleedin' gremlins :taz:

Well thats what the reason is, jiggled the plastic and hey presto, the indicators came one...

I think most peoples has done this at some point! I fettled mine by braying the dashboard on the old grey one, muchos force caused it to jump back out. Hey preston indicators again!

i had an issue with the hazards a while back i bet that has come back and teh indiactors are not working due to the mod i made (which has probably come loose..)
