if your talking about the usual suspension troubles with them then i think it costs about £800

having looked at GT4's I was advised that to make sure they have been 'done' as mentioned above they are pretty expensive to sort and apparently they are a suspension component that will need done at some point.

yep its not a cheap job at all... the bits cost an arm and a leg and take a long time to fit. Even getting it done on the side would be £400+.

The figure of 8's don't actually cost much to buy and are a relatively easy job to do - If you have the kit available to back you up if the ball joints are going to be a pain in the rectal area!! By that I mean you may possibly need access to a hydraulic puller or ball joint splitter - It seems to be more often than not that you will do! Mine didn't, and came apart rather easily with a normal 3 legged puller (a 2-er will doould. The figure of 8's themselves can be bought for about £80 for both side when I last looked. It's the lower arms that I found an absolute nightmare to do - The prices for these have gone up and must be a minimum of £400 for both arms; but the job itself was a pig! Eventually a hydraulic splitter and 10ton ram did the job, but I went through several tools and had to use carbide drill bits to get the job done! Ps. The figure of 8's will only take an hour to do both sides, if the job goes well - and that includes all your jacking and packing up time!

HTH,

Simon

no bother.

dont really think its worth him buying it as the guy still wants 3300 for it. Try and get him in a zed instead.lol
