Hi All

I have just aquired a set of 4x20mm Hubcentric wheel spacers for my Jap Spec Z. I am wondering if the existing wheel studs are longer than 20mm and will stick out past the face of the hubcentric adapter when fitted and therefore make contact with actual wheel? Any one had any issues with this are am I talking rubbish?

Any advice much appreciated.

Cheers

check if your wheels have holes between each bolt so the extra bit of nut can go in.. like recesses? if not then u can cut the studs down its not a big deal.

Ok cool I will check the wheels tonight. If i have to trim down the wheel bolts a tad it will give me something to do on Christmas day....with a bit of luck it will snow so I can freeze and reduce the size or my own nuts at the same time!

Do not cut them down with a grinder. I did on my fiat coupe and the heat made the treads soft. then my wheels fell off lol :w00t:

haha, i used a bolt cutter then smoothed off the edges.

i experimented with 20mm spacers and found that my hub bolts stuck through by about 4mm. in the end i didnt need the spacers
