My Z has been in storage for 6 months while I have been playing with my GT-R. Anyway, decided to get it out on Tuesday. Battery was flat but jumped off at the first turn. Took it for it's MOT Thursday, flew through that. Taxed same day and I'm off.

This old thing still puts a smile on my face. Cannot be compared to the GT-R but still a flying machine and still turning heads. Now my daily driver again. Love it!.

Some thing very special with that era of cars from japan. Glad your back to zeedin mate, have you took the bonnet safety system of the gtr yet as i hear when they go off they can cost a fortune to replace.

I heard it invalidates the warrenty from nissan if the PSS system is removed.

Read the article about the guy from GTR Owners who got hit for £11k when his system went off.......stuff that!

Yes true mate, apparently a good kick to the front of the car will set it off.

The truth about that matter is that Nissan had overcharged they guy on his bill. It was still a ridiculous 7K but I have read (on some forums) that this figure was 18K. Amazing how things get blown up like that!.

If you hit any modern car at the front it will deploy the safety systems.

If you want a supercar then sometimes it costs I'm afraid. luckily with the power of the net most things can be resolved or done cheaper. Try servicing a Ferrari or Lambo if you want to pay daft prices!.

The headlights on the 300 are shit though. Might have to upgrade them.

Why would you want to remove a safety system. Of course it would invalidate your warranty. Just like any other car!.

Not just the warranty but also your insurance ...

I never said i would. I just stated that it would invalidate the warrenty if you did.

Why bother if it is applicable to all other cars?.

Apologies for this blatant thread "hijack" but in response to both Damo J and Steve's interest in HID kits:

HID-PRO Conversion Kit (H3/6000K): £91.00

Royal Mail Special Delivery: £8.95

Would also recommend you buy our 6000K Ultra Bright LED's (side lights) to compliment your new HIDs: £12.00/pair
