went out in the zed last night and gave it some for the first time since having the larger turbo elbows and de-cats fitting and on the same boost controller settings now produces over 1 bar of boost:devil2: whereas is made a max of 0.9bar before. :D just goes to show how much difference allowing the turbos to breath makes. dont worry im not running silly boost that will cause dett. also before no matter what the settings it would not produce more than 0.9bar due to the restrictions. cant wait to get it onto the dyno and mapped now.

would deffinately reccomend getting de-cats and bigger turbo elbows.

How easy were the turbo elbows to fit?

Not too bad if the bolts/nuts come out clean, access is very limited though , but a PITA if they are seized and/or snap...and there is a high chance they will.

 

You can reach them all from underneath, but sometimes easier to reach the top ones from above.
