timing belt pulleys

has anyone ever heard of a timing belt pulley breaking on a tt i didnt fit them with the rebuild , is it a must

    I had my belt changed at zedworld, Jeff said he would inspect the tensioners etc and change if necessary - they were fine.

    I guess if you are competent about looking for wear and play then you should be ok.
