Hi everyone! I`ve bought a 300zx from WRC sales for £7999. Couple of miles later (around 200) the engine failed. When I`ve told them about the problem they did not want to hear about it. They said that I have signed a disclaimer. Anyway, after 8 months and £7600 later my car is back on road.

Yes £7600 for an engine replacement and coz my broken engine was modified I had to swap the important bits to my other engine wich is on the car now.

I still can`t drive the car to it`s full performance coz the engine management isn`t set up. I have to go at dyno. Does anyone knows a good dyno around east London? Cheers

One of the problems of buying a car with a modifed engine is the dealer will not want to guarantee it but at nearly 8k and only 200 miles down the road it seams a bit harsh not to offer some kind of financial help.Now at 16k thats one expensive zed you have,hope all that power is worth it and good luck fella

yeah, thank`s. I will post some pics later this week. My zed it`s estimated at 400-450bhp I will go to dyno in one or two months time. I ran out of cash :(

I am sure that dash can be tidied up a bit!

To be honest I like the rough look of the dash but I will think of rearanging the gauges to make enough room for a cd player.

the engine looks preety much the same, I have painted the plenum in blue, but I will post a pic tomorow with the new look
