Car hasn't been started in a while...

The car hasn't been started in over 6 months, I don't intend on starting it for another 3-4 months yet.. but I would like to know are there any precautions or things I should do before I do decide to move it out of the garage...

I assume the oil now is all in the sump and the engine would be completely drip dry.. what is the best thing to do before I do decide to start it?.. Oil change?..

Any advice appreciated!

When storing army vehicles it was common practice to top the oil in the engine to the top, this kept everything lubed up, then when they came out of storage, they would be drained and have a filter and fresh oil put in. if your planning on storing it again, id top it up, keep everything nice and lubed. then (put a big fapping note on your engine saying about the oil just in case you forget) drain it out give it a new filter and oil change. and start her up.

But at the moment, id change oil and filter. least you can coat some of the engine parts with some oil before the oil pump gets going. but you should be alright.
