Anybody else watching this tomorrow night? What are your predictions?

I have two bets placed in advanced. Valuev by knockout before the 7th Round at 7-1. If that one fails, I think Haye on points.

I don't think Haye will knock Valuev out even if he drives a bus into him but if he survives past the 6th, Valuev's engine will be out of steam.

I dont think the big man will go as far as the 7th.

valuev has gone the distance lots of times, as i understand haye has only gone the distance once and only gone over 5 rounds 4 times in his career(out of 22 fights), i really cant call the fight, i think it will be really obvious how the fight is going to go in the early rounds, if haye can wobble him with big shots i think he will win, if not haye will lose, he will never win on points in germany, not with 3 german judges all put in place by valuevs promotion company, he need to knock him over a few times or knock him out to win. A bigger fight for me than pacman vs mayweather, either way i cant wait.

My friend has Haye to win by KO in the early rounds which I thought was quite a good shout. His train of thought was the fact that a smaller Holyfield rocked Valuev and Haye has a heavier punch. I am really looking forward to it as I waited up until 3 o clock for the last PPV and fell asleep!

well this will kick off about 10pm as its in germany, ring walk quoted for about 9.45 so i hear. i bet on haye KO in the 5th but its a complete guess, valuev has a massive head and a 22" neck so i can see why he has never been in real trouble in 50+ fights, but he has never been in the ring with a big puncher, will be really interesting to see what happens.

Aye it should be a around 10pm start, I cant wait for it :hyper: should be good value for money unlike half the ones where you need to sit up til 3 or 4am only for it to be all over in the first 3 rounds

as much as i would like to see haye win i dont think so he aint a true heavyweight!! 7 stone weight difference and at 7 foot 2 think haye will be in for a shock once Valuev lands one, haye aint no holyfield so cant see that dream coming true sorry i see haye knocked out round 7ish, but i would love to be wrong.

I wouldn't rate Haye as a heavyweight either but the division is very poor at the moment. Haye's defence of late has been poor and like you say, it will only take one to make him dazed and another to sit him down.

me brother just booked it so we will be watching it tonight.:hyper:

What a rubbish fight! One of my bets came in (Haye by points) so I cannot complain. Well done, Haye!

Not forgetting that David broke his finger in the second round. So the little man took the world champion title from the seven foot giant, disabled some what;)

  • 4 weeks later...

the fight and all the undercard are being repeated on eurosport now if anyone missed it.
