maybe some job opportunities for me if i can pass the test at the end of this year.

what line of work r u in Si?

I work for a company that manufacture components for the electronics industry, I'm a business development manager and work with companies such as Panasonic, Sony, Toshiba etc and design in our products. I work with their design engineers mainly. But we have our own design engineers for products we produce.

am i right in thinking solidworks is now more commonly used than autocad now?

Solid works is good as an All-round package for abit of everything, and this software will win over alot of Companies but depending on what your really going into, get a specialist program for the job as Solid works may not cut it that deep

Its an Ace program though :)

Btw Torrents are everywhere for it :)
