I've got a Greddy Turbo Timer which has been successfully waiting 40secs before turning my engine off. Now i am one to touch and fiddle, and after looking at the manual, decided i wanted to investigate further the workings of the device.

However, after trying to get in to it from the front panel i appear to have totally nadgered it right up, in my defence, i will say some of the instructions in the manual are i bit vauge and the key combinations simply do not work!

Anyone got any suggestions or can tell me if there is a software reset switch

thanks

Rich

Oops!

I don't think there is a reset... when you say you;ve nadgered it up... do you mean it just doesn't shut down any more or doesn;t light up etc?

It's ages since I set one up, but if it's been wired in 'fully' you can put it in auto mode and it determines the cooldown perriod from driving conditions. Have you got the full instructions for it? The ones I had were a flow diagram for each mode and pretty good...?

did a quick google and some people mentioning a reset button the back of the turbo timer. Others mentioning old down the power and alarm buttons (if you have those?? alarm first then power but both held down at the same time)

Thanks Rich, that was the manual i already have, but thanks anyway. I just couldn't seem to follow it at all, nothing went as indicated, I tried to get into "setup mode" but thats when it all went fubar...

Thanks Quavy, totally forgot about google, so thanks, i'll try there as well.

Sussed it,

to cycle through the modes, it says press the P S and T buttons, What it doesn't say is press them twice in quick sucssesion, once this is understood, everything else just drops into place.

Thanks anyway guys,
