I think they've changed the kit since dazlet bought one, the two thicker wires supplied go to the two solenoid wires behind the ignition switch using the yellow blocks, then you need to get power from somewhere - I then used the blue block to take a feed from the fag lighter power. the one remaining wire needs to go to an earth.

Just reading through this and was wondering wiring a button up like this is the ignition button live all the time. What mean is you can if you wanted without putting a key in the ignition you can Just press the button and it will start?

OK, have managed to find the instructions to my button and am now more confused - button is supplied pre-wired to a relay this then has 4 wires, one to live (fag lighter), one to ground, one to the button and one to the ignition wire behind ignition barrel. Everyone else seems to have TWO wires going to the barrel, am I missing something ?? Any idea's which wire behind the barrel I would need to connect this single relay wire to?

Ho, hum it all seemed simple until I looked behind the ignition barrel:(

As the when you turn the key, the button acts as a contact switch, it only gets current until the engine has started, its acts almost like a contact breaker, but in reverse and momentary.

If you notice when you start the car you turn the key all the way to its fullest point and once the engine has started it returns back one notch, the push button acts as the last notch in the barrel so to speak

Hopefully thats as clear as mud lol
