Hi all,

After loosing or throwing my water and return feeds to the turbos, ive came up with this idea do you think it would work???

As you can see ive used a little bit of braided hose to connect the banjo bolt to the what was oil feed pipework with a little bending into shape:p, Im hoping the hose will withstand the heat. Do you think i will have any problems??

Cheers Dan

Yes both sides if possible would save me a lot of hassel. How much would you want for them? Cheers dan

if all else fails Dan, i think they should work. might be worth pulling the hard pipe away from the manifold though (last pic)

I say get the pipes off Gonzo, the braided hose is probably epdm which is only suited upto 120-130C so next to a manifold will fail I would think.

Thanks for your replies guys :-) Is the top hose in the last pic connected to the right water pipe leading to the rear of the engine? I try reversing the hard pipe around hopefully it will be enough space from the manifold.

By the way, the black silicone hose for the oil drain, does it have the special fluoro silicone liner or is it a standard one? Very important question!

Should be ok then but wanted to check incase they were standard jobbies, the liner should be pale grey. Without they will fail

mind u saying that z1 .. i have same ones but had a leak from the metal part as there were about 3 tiny holes in thatb joint . had it repaired since then ok ..no leaks
